We do prefer you personally pick up your yorkie puppy in person but understand this is not always possible! So, Yes we do ship! Mostly through Continental airlines on non-stop flights from "George Bush Intercontinental airport" in Houston,TX . Continental is wonderful and accepts only flights that are set up to accommodate live animals . Your puppy is in air-conditioned or heated conditions, not only while at the airport, but during the entire flight .They are the last ones put on the plane and the first ones off. So, no need to worry! .Generally depending on size, weight and other factors will determine at what age puppy will be ready for shipping. We do prepare your puppy the week prior to shipping by bringing their pet carriers into the nursery and spreading around their baby blankets that will fly with them to their new homes. The scents of their littermates and mom will come right along with them for comfort. Your yorkie will go from our nursery to you in no time at all! We feel that shipping is much less stressful form of transporting than a long car ride for the majority of yorkies. |
We will make all the arrangements to ship your yorkie. We will work with you to determine the best time to ship. All you will need to do is pick up the puppy at the airport. Please make sure you have your picture ID. The airlines will not release your puppy to you without proper identification. As soon as you pick up your new puppy, Please contact me so I know you have your new puppy. I always worry until I know they are safe in their new owners arms. I know you are very excited to have your new Yorkie, But PLEASE Remember he is a baby and should not play too long without getting to eat and rest. He will need rest as well as play time.
